FED-Mikron is a Soviet rangefinder camera, developed on the basis of the Japanese Konica C35 camera. It was produced by the Kharkov Production Machine-Building Association "FED" from 1978 to 1986.

The camera is designed for amateur and professional photography on black-and-white and color film type 135. Frame format 24x36 mm. Film loading with a standard cassette with a capacity of 36 frames.

The Industar-81 2.8/38 lens is non-removable. Manual focusing with a rangefinder. Focusing range from 1 m to infinity. The lens resolution in the center of the frame is 50 lines/mm, at the edges - 18 lines/mm. Thread for a 46 mm filter.

The FED-Micron camera is equipped with a central objective shutter-diaphragm. This means that the central shutter performs the function of the diaphragm; when shooting, the shutter blades not only work out the shutter speed in seconds, but also open to a certain relative aperture. Shutter speed in automatic mode is from 1/30 to 1/650 sec. In manual mode and without a power source - 1/30 sec. and "B".

The film sensitivity is set using a ring located on the front surface of the lens. Light sensitivity values ​​are 16, 22, 32, 45, 65, 90, 130, 180, 250, 350 GOST (ASA) units. There is a cadmium sulfide (CdS) photoresistor on the front surface of the lens barrel; when using filters, their density is automatically adjusted.

Aperture values ​​in automatic mode are from 2.8 to 14. In manual mode, the following values ​​can be set: 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16.

Optical viewfinder, combined with a rangefinder, with frame illumination, parallax.

The shutter release is interlocked with the film rewind and frame counter. The release has two positions - working and transport. There is a lock against incomplete shutter cocking. When the back cover is opened, the frame counter is automatically reset. The rewind handle is a tape measure.
